His Grace, Oh but for the Grace of God...

Micah 7:9
I will be patient as the LORD punishes me, for I have sinned against him. But after that, he will take up my case and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies. The LORD will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.

Have you ever known deep down in your spirit what you should not do according to the word of God? Regardless of that fact you went ahead and carried out that action(s).

The year of 2011 was the year that God beckoned me to "draw closer to HIM and He will draw closer to me". last year i found the Brooklyn Tabernacle in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, NY and i have never looked back. I have chosen to drink of the Grace of God. As I asked God constantly in prayer to guide me, reveal my life purpose to me and to have a Holy spirit encounter, God began to mold and refine me gradually as i honestly dedicated my time and heart to Him. It was however this year 2012 that i began to know what it felt to walk and talk with Him via the Holy spirit.

Regardless of this Grace that i feel strongly, i still sometimes give in to my flesh against the will of God, in fact most times in this past two months i have found myself running away from the tasks that He has given me, today being the worst flight to date.

Not to bore you with the long story of what happened to me today (will be another post for another day), i will cut the story short.

"There is this particular co-worker that has been completely hostile to me regarding a stand off that occurred last month regardless of how i tried with all i had to "WWJD" (What Will Jesus Do) the situation. However, i got a revelation to pray for this person. I cried out to the Lord concerning this individual and vowed that i will not do anything for this person to doubt the grace and forgiveness of God, but I failed woefully with Today's incidence.

So the moral of this story is that "though we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" but His grace will sustain us through and through as long as we genuinely go back to that place of worship, "He is faithful and Just to forgive us"

  1. Nothing we can ever do can amount to His righteousness. Thank God for an outpouring of His renewable love and mercy. Even with our faults, in His eyes we as perfect as Jesus because when God looks at us He sees Jesus. Beautiful post. Welcome to blogsville. :)
